Cyan wins a Green Building of America award

This morning I heard that Cyan has been selected for a Green Building of America Success Story award, from more than 2500 nominated projects. Cyan will be featured in Northwest Real Estate and Construction Review’s Green Success Stories edition. The publication will showcase Cyan’s developer, architect, and builder, talking about the process of building one of the region’s most innovative new sustainable facilities.

Pretty cool to see the project getting recognition; a bonus on a sunny Friday morning!

  1. Ian, we too heard that one of our projects was selected for a Green Building of America Success Story award today. We will be in the Northeast edition for our Decker Walk project. I went online to see who some of our companion winners were and found your website. I love how your project so comprehensively discusses what it means to live green. I hope to share some of your more communal ideas (Swap & Share / Team Cyan / etc.) with the residents of our project. They’re quickly becoming a tightknit group of new homeowners and now that spring is here, we’re trying to get them out of their homes and doing more community projects as a block entity. Best of luck as you proceed.

    Congratulations!!
We just heard one of our projects won the award as well. Like Heather, I was curious to see projects in other parts of the country that had won.
