Commuters were in for a surprise when they stepped out of work and into their cars yesterday. Residents of Portland were given a white holiday four days late with just enough of the white stuff for a snowball fight. Adults frolicked like children, playing in the snow without a care in the world. Happy hours throughout downtown Portland stayed busy throughout the evening and into the night with folks who just didn’t want to sit in traffic. The best part of the weather is that the snow had a lifespan of just a day!
