 WHAT:

  

Jackilen Shannon, PhD, RD, Scientist, Center for Research on Environmental Toxicology and Associate Professor of Public Health & Preventive Medicine, Oregon Health & Science University, will discuss the evidence for a relationship between diet and risk of breast cancer, with specific focus on the current evidence for the role of fruits and vegetables, fat (total and individual fatty acids) and vitamin D in breast cancer prevention. She will also discuss some of the work evaluating the association between omega-3 fatty acids and breast cancer risk.

Preventative refreshments will also be offered.
