This Friday at the Hollywood Theater…3rd Angle!!!!

Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010

Here’s what most musicians want to tell the composer: “Great idea, now let me do it MY way.” This program of limitless musical possibilities presents works that are ingenious frameworks, built by master composers who trust the players to bring their music to life. Call it musical intelligent design…..we call it terrifyingly good fun. Enjoy the premiere of David Schiff’s “Mountains/Rivers” with guest soloists Beta Collide. Also “In C” by Terry Riley, and “The Metaphysics of Notation” by Mark Applebaum.
