Croquet and a Bike-in Movie!

Along with our Summer Cinema Series, we will also be hosting croquet in the garden and combination scavenger hunt. This Friday our croquet game starts at 6pm in the community garden at Cyan/Pdx! Bring something to use as a mallet and a ball! We will be giving prizes for the best costume, outfit and most stamps collected in the hunt. So get out that purple wig from two Halloween’s ago and let’s get this party started! We’ re located at 1720 SW 4TH Ave. so grab your friends and your wig and come down for an evening of community living!

The New York Times has a lot of content on small space living, and this recent article on Gary Chang’s in Hong Kong’s working-class Sai Wan Ho district. Gary is an architect and has remodeled his 344 square-foot space in an innovative multi-purpose floorplan. Check out a couple of his 24 different configurations for his small space:
