Join the celebration of nature, by volunteering your time and energy to something you love and want others to enjoy. Oregon Metro offers up different volunteer programs for different folks. Whether it is the fun of showing both children and adults alike how to discover nature or doing restoration projects, you will discover something within yourself. This site also gives information on activities to do, places to go and sustainable living. So give an hour do teach someone, something new!

Nature: So Beautiful, So Exquisite
Tuesday, January 19th, 2010Portland Wants YOU!!!!
Tuesday, November 10th, 2009You’ve probably heard the saying “It takes a village” and it does…..The City of Portland is only as strong as it’s people.
The Portland Plan will only be as valuable as the input we receive. I encourage you to attend one or more of the workshops listed below. You can also go online at www.PDXPlan.com to learn more about our city, share your thoughts, and take a survey. Please share these workshop dates with your family, friends and neighbors. The more Portlanders who participate, the more robust, realistic and attainable the Portland Plan will be. More voices, better choices.
